(CNN) -- Tropical Storm Helene is expected to make landfall in Mexico on Saturday, dumping heavy rains and strong winds to an area recovering from Hurricane Ernesto.

The storm was about 65 miles (105 km) east-northeast of the coastal city of Tuxpan early Saturday morning.

It is expected to make landfall in Veracruz later in the day, the National Hurricane Center said.

It comes after Ernesto hit the area last week as a Category 1 hurricane before weakening.
